New Issues 2010 (October - December)

This page collects only issues released during the year 2010, period October to December.

As it is not such obvious as it looks to find this information, this list is probably not yet complete. In certain countries, joint issues are often announced on the day of the issue and sometimes it takes months before this information and the corresponding stamps reach us. Data on missing issues or supplementary information, particularly for countries, which are producing joint issues exceptionally, will be highly appreciated.

There was a huge demand of Romanian stamps in Italy increasing drastically the price of all Romanian items. No reprint of Romanian stamps was made, but the Vatican postal administration promised that they would take in account the real demand for joint stamp issues in Italy in the future. Romanian stamps were actually printed in approximately the same amount as usual and it was the first time that such kind of stamps were sold out so fast.
An analogue situation happened with the Marconi stamps from 1995 (T19950608), issue for which the Irish stamps became rare. It took more time for this series to increase in price, because the number of printed Irish stamps was quite high, but now the demand is still there and values of Irish stamps has been increased by more than 10 fold. This situation is mainly due to the exceptional high interest of Italian collectors for partner country stamps of joint issues.
